On Thursday, 26 March, the Polish Agency for Audit Oversight (PANA) hosted a delegation from the Audit Public Oversight Body of Ukraine (APOB).
The meeting was attended by Oleg Kantsurov, Managing Director for Quality Assurance Inspections at APOB, Jacek Gdański, Chairman of PANA, Iwona Karpińska, Head of Unit at the Department of Public Expenditure Efficiency and Accounting of the Ministry of Finance, as well as other representatives of PANA and APOB.
During the meeting, participants discussed the systems for qualification and examination of candidates for the statutory auditor profession in Poland and Ukraine.
PANA and APOB reaffirmed their commitment to continuing bilateral cooperation, including within the framework of the Committee of European Auditing Oversight Bodies (CEAOB), in which APOB has held observer status since March 2023.
